What's included?

A journey to one of the most extraordinary sacred sites in the Eastern Rhodopes. The “Womb” Cave is a rock sanctuary shaped like a female womb; around the spring and autumn equinox, the midday sun sends a narrow beam of light into the “chamber,” creating an impressive light ritual. The site is reached by a scenic trail above the Arda River, offering panoramic views of the Kardzhali Dam and the surrounding rock formations. The finale is at the cave entrance, overlooking the entire valley. The experience can optionally be combined with a boat trip on the Kardzhali Dam, departing from the “Emona” ship. Advance reservation and separate payment are required.
